Art as a meeting place at Pop-Up Project Lisbon 2026
2026 continues to be a year of international milestones for Graciela Musteikis. On this occasion, the artist arrives in Portugal to be part of the highly anticipated edition of the Pop-Up Project in Lisbon, held from March 21 to 26.
A historic setting for contemporary art
The exhibition, titled “Crossroads,” unfolds within the majestic rooms of the Palacete Gomes Freire, an architectural gem from 1878 located in the heart of Lisbon. This space, which once belonged to the Portuguese Crown, was transformed for a week into a nomadic cultural epicenter, where Graciela’s work dialogued with history and modernity.
Graciela’s proposal in “Crossroads”
In an exhibition that defines art as a “meeting place,” Graciela Musteikis’ textures and chromatic depth found a special resonance. Her participation in this international platform reinforces her position within the European circuit, sharing space with a curated selection of global artists under a curatorship that seeks to transform extraordinary sites into temporary cultural destinations.
“Art at the crossing, before directions harden.” —
Under this concept of the Pop-Up Project, Graciela’s work invites the viewer into a reflective pause through the exploration of matter.
